Charlie is a large GSD cross, approximately 14 month olds who is currently with us in residential training.
Pennine Animal Welfare Society contacted us recently to ask if we could help with Charlie's training as he was becoming stressed in kennels. They are helping so many animals around the clock that they realised Charlie probably needed a bit more one to one time and structure.
Charlie is a beautiful dog inside and out, and he is really flourishing now he is training
and going for long walks.
Charlie was found running loose in the countryside and picked up by a farmer. PAWS took him in and checked his microchip. It turned out Charlie's original owner had passed him on because she was struggling, and the man who bought had him for a day and dumped him in the middle of nowhere!
We genuinely can't understand why! Yes he needs structure, but all does dogs especially young, bouncy ones. He is a bit shy when he first meets you but comes round quickly. He likes dogs and his obedience is coming along nicely. He is currently working on heel, recall, automatic sit, sit and down under distraction. We are happy to work with anyone who would like to offer Charlie a home to give him the consistency that he needs.
All Charlie wants is love, time and structure. If you think you might
be able to help Charlie please contact Sue or Michele at PAWS on:
