Martin and Ruth were fantastic they have worked wonders with my 2 German shorthaired pointers they were pulling really bad on walks and it was so stressful for me to take them out but after 20mins outside doing heel work with them both they are now walking with a loose lead and is now a pleasure to walk them. They also worked on how to control the dogs barking at everything and jumping up at people when coming in the house after a short while the dogs were sitting on their beds really calm. I would definitely recommend Martin and Ruth it was a pleasure.

We own a young lurcher whose recall, as he reached maturity, went completely out the window. You name it, he chased it! Walks were a nightmare and the dog was in serious danger of being shot by an angry farmer or hit by a car or train. So we called in Ruth, who after an initial session on the telephone recommended some training aids and then she came and spent a couple of hours with us helping us to re-train the dog. The transformation was truly dramatic and we haven’t looked back since. Walks are now a pleasurable experience and we have a well mannered, well behaved dog who is a joy to be with. Thanks Ruth - you are a life saver (literally)!

Great 1st class! Very informative. Martin and Ruth are both very knowledgeable & presented me very well with what to expect, and was I needed to do, easy to understand, I lost confidence in myself which rubbed off on my puppy. Being a dog owner became really hard and not enjoyable, I needed support to get the love and confidence back. I contacted Yorkshire K9. And will never look back. These guys have helped me 100% already with one session. Very approachable, learnt so much, and positive feeling watching my puppy change in such little time. I’m now Looking forward to training a little more myself. I will definitely be booking in later down the line even to show off my new improved Barney :) thank you again Yorkshire K9! Incredible work! Ruth has worked with Otis a number of times and had an immediate impact, she is great at training the owner as well as the dog, as its more often the owner who needs the guidance before the dog. I would highly recommend her approach and expertise.
